Hi Beauty!

There are plenty of boring “about me” pages out there.  If you want to know how I work with clients, if this work is for you, and the results my clients get- check out the Home Page or the Coaching Page.  Below is a little more about who I am, so you can decide if you want to spend your time and money with me. <3

Early Life

I was born in NY state and my family moved to VT when I was 9 years old.  I took dance classes for nine years, played most sports, and loved running around outdoors.  When I was 12, I was diagnosed with FSHD- a chronic, progressive muscle disorder which to this day (28 years later) still has no treatment and no cure.  I had to stop playing sports in junior high and turned back to reading, music, arts & crafts for things to do outside of school.

The daughter of an MRI Tech and a (now retired) Home Ec & pre-school teacher, I’m the oldest of three kids.  Our yearly vacations to Virginia Beach with our extended family hold some of my favorite memories and the small town where I grew up in Vermont still feels like my roots.

Education

I went to college at a small liberal arts school in Lynchburg, VA and went in “undecided” because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do (first, I wanted to be a doctor- but I hated my 8am biology classes, then maybe psychology but I didn’t like the labs…).  I finally realized I just needed to choose something that wouldn’t bore me to tears for the last two years of undergrad- I landed on history or political science.

I eventually decided to major in Political Science with a minor in Pshycology and graduated in 2007.  I knew I wanted more schooling but wanted to give myself time to decide WHAT I wanted to go back for.  After my first couple jobs working for state government and a law office, I went to Grad school for Public Administration with a concentration in Health Policy & Administration and graduated in 2013 from the University of New Mexico.

Qualifications

I have been coaching since 2016 and while my business has gone through several iterations, my coaching has always been a combination of strategy, mindset/confidence, and implementation.  And I have always helped women show up & speak up so they can create a life beyond their wildest dreams.

I’ve taken numerous courses in trauma and sexuality. I am a Certified Body Image Coach through the Institute for Body Image and am Level 1 Trained in IFS through the IFS Institute (which just means I get to do this work out in the world :)).  Almost all of my programs have some component of IFS now because it is a truly powerful modality- and my clients rave about it.

Personal Life

After being single for six years and going on literally hundreds of first dates (seriously!) over a decade, I finally met my husband at our mutual workplace.  He was in the Air Force for 22 years and is currently on his second career as the VP of Operations at a nonprofit.

Brian and I got married in August 2022, and I have two young-adult step children who are both out of the house. We went to Italy for our honeymoon in October 2024 (2 years and 2 months after we got married), enjoy traveling, finding fun things to do locally, and are constantly giving time and attention to each other & making sure our relationship is a priority.  We also love Halloween ;).

Other Passions

I’m still a political science nerd at heart, care deeply about what’s happening to people in the country & the world and have been advocating more than ever in 2026.  I began holding Postcard Protest Parties in my home in 2025 and recently brought these gatherings online.  You can learn more about my political beliefs, values, and/or sign up to join us at these online parties here if you’re interested.

I love to read and use it as my escape- my favorite genre is YA magical fiction (the entire Harry Potter & Throne of Glass series still get read from time to time).  I just started making sourdough in 2026 and so far all the loaves have been edible :).

I talk to my plants and my sourdough starter, break out in song multiple times a day, and love to dance in my car.  I love being outdoors when it’s nice out- if only to sit in the sun- and enjoy learning new things and exploring new places.

Why I do this work

I worked for many years as a business coach- helping women show up/be seen and speak up/ask for what they need so they could make more income & a bigger impact.  While I still believe this work is important, it wasn’t lighting me up anymore.  In 2024, I began bringing relationship pieces into my coaching (I was having regular convos with clients about their relationships anyway) and remembered how much I’ve always enjoyed talking to people about their relationships- since elementary school when hand holding was a big deal. ;)

Our romantic partner, if we choose to have one, is probably the person we spend the most time with in our lives.  And this relationship will impact our business, our health, our overall happiness in life (in a good or bad way).

I want to make sure women have a hot, connected, thriving relationship while also maintaining their business momentum (not to mention their health/kids/extended family/etc.) and, of course, making space & time for themselves, too.

No one does this work the way I do, and I’d love to support you if you’re ready.
